My custom postcards are a personal yet economical way to do a mailing that shows you're a nature lover. They can be designed to suit any purpose -- wedding save-the-date cards, party invitations, holiday greeting cards, souvenirs of special places, or just notes to celebrate the changing seasons with friends.
DESIGN
I create a design inspired by your occasion. You choose one of my original photographs for the full-color front. If you can't decide on just one, an order can include multiple designs (one image per card). In either grays or full color, the back includes your return address and image caption, as well as an optional personalized message in your chosen font. All designs are formatted to USPS mailing standards for a standard first-class postcard stamp. This page illustrates just a few of the many possibilities.
I can also do more complex designs, such as multiple images per card or incorporating your own logo (cost depending on the number of images and amount of work).
PRINTING & PRICES
Small-volume (20-249) and multi-design postcard orders are produced using a professional digital printer on 16 pt. card stock (the maximum thickness allowed by the Post Office) cut to 4.1" x 5.8". The paper is sourced from sustainable forests and is processed chlorine free. Fronts are glossy-laminated, and the backs are plain matte surfaces suitable for writing on. These postcards are $1.50 each plus $20 per image.
For larger volumes (250+) of the same card design, I use an exceptional offset printing service. These are printed on 12 pt. premium postcard stock cut to 4.25” x 6”. This postcard paper is obtained from forests that are managed in an environmentally responsible manner, is manufactured in the U.S., and the coating is non-toxic and water-based. Fronts are semigloss-laminated, and the backs are plain matte surfaces suitable for writing on. Cost varies according to volume, but this process is much more economical per piece; for example, 250 cards are only $220. Larger sizes and/or full-color backs are also available.

OTHER SERVICES
To extend the theme of their mailings, some of my customers want to use the same photos on their personal websites. For example, some brides share their wedding plans on such sites as theknot.com or brides.com. I am happy to provide web-formatted versions for that purpose, and the fee for a non-exclusive one-year license is typically $30 per image.
